The location is so convenient and inside the salon is really nice and clean. I thought the tech was a just ok. One eyebrow was done ok but the other one was a little off. It was so obvious but I had to insist the tech correct it. I was also surprised that she didn't offer to use some powder or evaluate the shape of my eyebrows before launching right in. There are other threading shops that are much better and charge a little less.
I just moved to LI & I’m searching for my new favorite threading salon. I’ve tried this place twice & both times the eyebrows were shaped nicely. However, both times my brows were severely irritated, red and the skin was raised for hours after the threading. I also got a few cuts. I’m not sure how to feel about it or if I should try again.
Great experience!! Me and my brother love getting our eyebrows done here! We’re both super picky but we’ve been coming here for over a year and haven’t been able to go anywhere else.
I went to Suman to get my eye brows threaded and shaped based on the good reviews on Google and she didn't disappoint. I will go again.
Terrible experience. I gave her a second chance as a walk-in, thinking the first visit was a fluke, but when I went again, she scolded me for coming late (around 6pm, when the store closes @ 7pm). Like, she repeatedly complained about it about a half dozen times, after sitting me down in her chair. Because what working professional doesn't love getting scolded for having a normal working schedule? On top of that she prompted me to do more than expected with holding my lids at crazy angles then said "this is what they do in the city". When I calmly disagreed (not my first rodeo, I've lived in the city my entire life), she told me I had gone to "bad places" then. Oh really? Ultimately, she proceeded to do a TERRIBLE job - I'm talking brows uneven and stray hair underneath my brow line. Seems like she was just in a rush to close (again, an hour earlier than listed). It was memorable enough that I remembered to write this review. I'm not sure why she expected a client would enjoy being scolded like a child, but not my cup of tea, especially from someone in a service-based beauty industry. If you like terrible service, and brows that look like you did them yourself, then this might be the place for you.
